Its been an amazing season for me!! My life has been a whirlwind of weddings, openings, fairs, parties, and hard work. I finally got a chance to catch my breath. I can’t help feeling that everything is as it should be and being pleased. I am so blessed and lucky to be alive right here, right now.

This was drawn from an actual chess piece from the Harry Potter chess set. I love the series for all its peculiar creatures and oddities. The Queen is one of my absolute faves because she is beautiful and terrible all at the same time!

I love working with pastels! It makes the light pour onto objects like honey. The colors melt beautifully into one another.

This was one of the first experiments I did with red inks. Then I added paint pen to flesh out the tones, and topped it off with a sharpie. Intense!
